The jew and the dog
Story time: Part I: Once upon a time there was a Jew, he was poor, his house was too small and he had too many kids. He often felt that his life was in total chaos and he was using up all his energy just to get by from one day to the next. One day he felt he could not stand it any longer so he went to the Rabbi for advice. The Rabbi asked him if he has a goat, and the jew said yes, he had a goat in the yard, which they used for milk etc. So the Rabbi told him to take the goat to live with them inside the house. After about a week, the Rabbi met the jew and asked him how he was doing - "O Rabbi, this is terrible, the goat is eating and destrying all our things, this is even worse than it was before". So the Rabbi suggested he take the goat out - back to the yard, which he promptly did. After about a week the Rabbi met him again, and this time the jew was happy and cheerful.
